When using a constituent update batch to update address information, you may see that the primary address is not updated to the new address. You have marked this field as TRUE or YES in your batch, but when address is only imported into the database and is not marked as the primary.
This issue has been resolved in version 5.0. All sites have been updated in April 2018. If you experience this error, please click Chat with Support and provide the exact steps that were taken.
Steps to Duplicate
Select a constituent in the database
Go to Administration > Import
Select Generate import header file in the task bar > Choose Constituent Update Batch
Enter the following information into the file:
Primary Address: True
Save the file to as a CSV > Close the file
In the import screen > Add
Expand the constituent folder > Select constituent update batch
On the add import screen enter a name on the configure import file
Upload the CSV file
Next auto map your fields
Select the address collection field > select map collection field
Auto map this field > save
On the set options tab > select quick find on search list fields
Select ID on Search list fields
On constituent matching tab choose to process automatically.
Save > Start process
Navigate to the batch that was created
Expand the addresses field in the batch > see that the updated address is not checked as the primary
