- Navigate to Academics. > Grades > Grading Setup > Gradebook setting
- Select school level (if applicable)
- Click + Add marking period
- Enter the following information:
Marking Period Name - Name of the marking period
Marking period start date - First day of marking period
Marking period end date - Last day of marking period
Grade Access Settings - per role settings for whether they given role should have global access, globally hide, or let individual teachers decide, to student marking period averages, as well as assignment grades. This shows as the 'View Grade Detail' button on a student's 'Progress' tab.
