Error: Data could not be saved. Unable to access directory entry with path 'LDAP://blackbaudhost.com/DC=com' as a user 'BLACKBAUDHOST\XXXX'. Double check to make sure that the user name and password are correct - when resetting password

When resetting your password after receiving the pop up alert to tell you  that your password is about to expire, you may receive this error:
Data could not be saved. Unable to access directory entry with path 'LDAP://blackbaudhost.com/DC=com' as a user 'BLACKBAUDHOST\XXXX12345'. Double check to make sure that the user name and password are correct.
Click Chat with Support and reference this article to have hosting administrators correct the issue.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Log into Altru.
  2. See Password Expiration pop-up alert.
  3. Click Yes to reset password.
  4. Fill out the necessary information.
  5. Click Save.
  6. See error message.
