Error: RE7 has stopped working when adding New Windows Group

When adding a New Windows Group in Admin > Security, an error message 'Error: RE7 has stopped working' may be received when selecting and confirming the Group Name.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Admin > Security > New Windows Group
  2. Enter a Group name and select Synchronize
  3. In the Group Browser dialogue set the source container as Group and click Browse
  4. In the Select Group dialogue click the Locations... options and set this to Entire Directory
  5. In the Enter the object name to select box enter the name of the group and use Check Names to confirm. Click OK
  6. Click OK on the Group Browse dialogue box and receive the error message 'Error: RE7 has stopped working'
