Error received when editing an old Grade Plan

Note: As of July 9, 2018, Blackbaud's School Management solutions (which include Core, onBoard, onCampus, onMessage, and onRecord) are utilizing a new top level navigation. This primarily affects users performing administrative tasks-constituent navigation for most parents, students, faculty, and alumni will remain the same.

After cleaning up the school's Grade Plan Grades and Grade Plans, grading managers may receive an Error message when attempting to edit an old Grade Plan.
We are currently investigating this issue and will update this article when new information arises.

To be able to edit the previous Grade Plans, ensure that all Grade Plan Grades contained within are marked as Active in onRecord > Settings > Grading > Grade Plan Grades.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to onRecord > Settings > Grading.
  2. Select Grade Plan Grades.
  3. Ensure at least one Grade Plan Grade is marked as Inactive.
  4. Select School year setup.
  5. Filter on the Grade Plan Group with the inactive Grades.
  6. Click View next to the Grade Plan.
  7. Click Edit.
  8. Receive error.
