When adding a special event with the same location as an existing group sale custom item for the same date and time it doesn't show a conflict

I scheduled a special event in same location being used for a custom item in a group reservation. I was allowed to do this and was not notified of the conflict.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Sales > Group Sales > Add
  2. Enter a patron and reservation name
  3. Add a price type and count and Save
  4. Click the itinerary name
  5. Click Add > Custom Item
  6. Enter a name, time, and location
  7. Check “Mark location unavailable to other groups” and Save
  8. Go to Events > Add New > Special Event
  9. Enter a name, the same time and location as the custom item
  10. Save and see that there is no conflict error
