To add the Citrix Receiver to your Notification (System Tray) Area:
  1. Navigate to your notification area settings
    • On Windows 7, open the Start menu, then choose Control Panel > Notification Area Icons.
    • On Windows 8, press Windows key + X on your keyboard, then choose Control Panel > Notification Area Icons.
    • On Windows 10, click the Start menu, then choose Settings > Notifications & actions.
  2. Enable Citrix Receiver to appear in Notification area
    • On Windows 7 and 8, locate the Citrix Receiver Application item in the list, and use the Behaviors drop-down to set it to 'Show icon and notifications'.
    • In Windows 10, choose Select which icons appear on the Taskbar. Find Citrix Receiver Application in the list and click the button to turn it 'On'.
  3. Click OK or close the window. The Citrix icon should now appear in the system tray.
If you don't want to add the Citrix Receiver to the Notification Area you can simply launch Citrix Connection Center:
  1. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\ if using a 64-bit workstation or C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA Client\ if using a 32-bit workstation
  2. Double-click the concentr.exe application file to launch the Citrix Connection Center.
