Smart does not process refunds to parents.  If a parent has made an over payment on their account or there is a payment currently in process that the parent would like to be refunded for, Smart will remit these funds to the school once the payment goes thru successfully and it is up to the school to refund the parent directly. 

Schools must remember to apply a "School Issued Refund" fee on the family's billing details to reflect the amount refunded to the parent.
