Users may receive the following error when saving a record after adding a media item to a project in General Ledger or to a vendor record in Accounts Payable

Error when adding media item to a project record:

'dbo.GL7Projectmedia' with unique index
'IX_GL&PROJECTMEDIA_IMPORTID_U." The duplicate key value is (<Null>).

Error when adding media item to a vendor record:

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Open the appropriate vendor or project record and select the Media tab
  2. Click New Media. 
  3. In the Insert Object screen, mark the Create New from the File option to create a new file with content you provide.
  4. If you mark create from file, click Browse and locate the media object and click Open.
  5. Leave the Link checkbox unmarked to embed the file (embed the media item if your data is hosted by Blackbaud).
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the Media screen, enter a date in the Date field.
  8. In the Type field, select the media type such as Photo.
  9. In the Description field, enter a description of the media object.
  10. In the Author field, enter who created the media object.
  11. Enter a title for the media object in the Title field.
  12. Click Save and Close to save the media object.
  13. Click Save and Close to save the record - the error occurs.
