First, create a query for the Account(s) for whose relationships that you want to list:
  1. Click the Queries button on the menu bar.
  2. Click Manage Queries.
  3. Select a category that you want to store this query in (Ex: Base).
  4. Click New Query under the Tasks menu.
  5. Name the query, such as Relationships of [the Account(s) desired].
  6. Set the Starting Query to Base: All Constituents - A.
  7. Set the Data Return Type to Related Accounts.
  8. Select the desired Relationship Info. (Note: Only one relationship type can be queried on at a time. If this is set to None, then no records will be returned.)
  9. Under Relationship Info, set the desired part of the relationship to include. (Note: If unsure, then select Any.)
  10. Select Match Each Criteria under the Criteria Matching field
  11. Under Browse Fields, select the desired fields to find the Accounts where the Relationship is located. For example, select Account > Account Name and type in the desired name. (Note: This resulting query does not list the relationships and their common accounts. Keep criteria limited so you know who the common account(s) is(are).)
  12. Click Save And View Queries (or Save and Preview to see results or Save and Create Custom Account query for use in Compound Queries).

Once the query is ready, then set up a report that displays total giving. For example:
  1. Click Reports.
  2. Click Manage Reports.
  3. Select a category that you want to store this report in.
  4. Select New Report under the Task Menu.
  5. Name the report.
  6. In the Group By drop down menu, select Do Not Group.
  7. Under Report Columns section > Browse Fields tab > select Sets in the drop-down.
  8. Scroll down through the available sets and click on Giving History Information.
  9. Click Save (to save the Report) or Save and Run (to proceed with running the report) under the Task Menu.
  10. To run the report, under Query select the query created in the steps above.
  11. At the bottom of the page select a Delivery Option and then click Submit.
