Working in Marketing and Communication > Reminders and adding or editing a new reminder process while also not using a letter or label template, if an error is encountered, the templates will clear themselves and present additional errors.
One workaround to this is to cancel the edit/add and reattempt. It is also possible to select a file for each of the blanked templates and then click to "Clear file" to get "<File not specified>" back in the template area.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
Steps to Duplicate
1) In CRM > Marketing and Communications > Reminders - Click Reminders tab 2) Click Add to add a reminder process 3) Supply a name and leave Letter template/Label template blank NOTICE: both templates read <File not specified> 4) Select Export Definition for the Output Type 5) Select an Export Definition 6) Check the box to Create selection from results 7) Do NOT select to Overwrite existing selection 8) Supply a selection type and selection name 9) Save process and run the process 10) Edit the process 11) Make no changes but attempt to save NOTICE: Prompt that a selection with the same name already exists. Click OK NOTICE: Letter template and Label template no longer read <File not specified>
