Disabled eStore item appears for purchase online

After disabling an item in the eTapestry eStore management module the item continues to appear for purchase in the customer facing store.
If visiting the eStore prior to disabling the item in eTapestry a portion of the eStore may be stored in the browser's cache. Clear your browser's cache using the steps outlined in How do I clear my browser cache, cookies, and temporary Internet files and refresh the online store's page.
