To reset a user password in GIFTS Alta, please take the following steps:

1. Launch the Administrator module
Alternately, you can log into GIFTS Alta, then go to Modules > click 'Adminstrator'
2. Once Administrator opens, go to Access > Users
3. The Users window appears > search for your affected user in the list > click their name to highlight the row
If the user is inactive but is still an active employee and an Alta user, click Activate User as needed
4. Click 'Set Password'
5. Enter the new password in the 'New Password' and 'Verify' fields > click OK
6. Instruct your user to log in with the new password in GIFTS Alta > The system will prompt them to create a new password
