Table cleanup for Declaration Source table does not update records

When using Table Cleanup option in Config > Tables > Declaration Source the information is not updated even though message received that table cleanup complete.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information. In the meantime, follow these steps:
  • If there are a small number of Declarations involved then use the query to open each in turn and manually replace the Declaration Source.
  • If the number too large to process manually then use import in Raiser's Edge - see article How to update existing tax declarations (UK version).
  • When complete the table entry can then be deleted from the Declaration Source table

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Create a constituent query of Declarations > Declaration Source equals the entry you wish to replace in table cleanup - for example Covenant where the intention is to replace this with Written.
  2. Go to Config > Tables > Declaration Source, select Table Cleanup, replace Covenant with Written and select option to Delete table entries that are being replaced then click Replace Now
  3. Click OK to message "Table cleanup complete" and the table entry being replace still exists.  Run the query again and it returns the same results
