To properly test card numbers you will need a BBMS merchant account/configuration set to Test mode.  If you do not have one setup please create one following these instructions:
  1. How to add an Account Configuration to a Blackbaud Merchant Services (BBMS) Account
  2. How to modify a merchant account in BBMS for testing purposes
    Note: Changing the process mode in the merchant account will impact any other products using the merchant account.  For additional information, see How are changes made to a merchant account reflected across products?
  3. Once your account is created and configured properly you will need to make sure your product is setup to use your test account.  To do this please refer to your product documentation.
To test certain response codes for BBMS you will need to enter specific input values.  Please see the table below to find the input values you will need to generate different results:
