I need to get names and emails of people registered for a scheduled event

How can I find out the names of people who have purchased tickets to a program? Sometimes you want to email everyone coming to an event to remind them of the event or to tell them pertinent information about the event.  You can build a query to get the people that purchased tickets and their email addresses, or if it is a pre-registered program event, use the roster.
Option #1: If it is a scheduled program event that does require registration:
  1. Go to Tickets > Program Search.
  2. Search for and select the program.
  3. Go to the Event List tab and click on the event for which you want the list.
  4. At top left underneath Reports, click on View Roster.
  5. Click on View Report.
Option #2: If it is a scheduled program event that does not require registration and you do not need emails:
  1. Go to Tickets > Program Search.
  2. Search for and select the program.
  3. Go to the Event List tab and click on the event for which you want the list.
  4. At top left underneath Reports, click on Scheduled Event Ticket Detail.
  5. Click on View Report.
Option #3: If it is a scheduled program event that does not require registration and you need emails or if you need to export this information to Excel:

Start your query:
  1. Navigate to Analysis, then click on Information library
  2. Click Add an ad-hoc query
  3. Select the source view of Constituents and click OK
Add fields to Include records where:
  1. In the left column, expand Sales Order, expand Sales Order Item, expand Sales Order Item Ticket, then select Program Events. In the middle column, drag Name into Include records where. Set Equal to your event.
    • Note: If you are looking for all events within one program, expand Sales Order Item, then expand Sales Order Item Ticket, select Program Events. From the middle column, drag Event record into Include Records Where. Search for the name of your program event, and click OK.
  2. In the left column, select Sales Order. From the middle, drag Refund status text into Include records where. Set Equal to Not Refunded
    • Note: This field is spelling and case sensitive
Add fields to Results fields to display:
  1. To output patron name: By default, a Constituent source view has the Constituent Name in Results fields to display.
  2. To output email address: In the left column, select Email Addresses. In the middle column, drag Email address into Results fields to display.
Your final query will look similar to below:
