Start your Query:
  1. From Analysis, Click Information Library
  2. Click Add an Ad-hoc Query
  3. Select the Source View of Sales Orders, Click Ok
Add Parameters to Include records where:
  1. To filter on Online Sales. On the left click Sales Order. From the middle drag Sales Method Type to Include Records Where and set equal to Online Sales.
  2. To filter on Donations. On the left click Sales Order Item. From the middle drag Type to Include records where and set equal to Donation.
  3. (Optional) To filter on Orders between certain dates. On the left click Sales Orders. From the middle drag Transaction date to Include records where and set between X and Y.
Add Fields to Results fields to display:
  1. To output the order date. On the left click Sales Order. From the middle drag Date to Results fields to display.
  2. To output the Constituent's name. On the left click Constituent. From the middle drag Name to Results fields to display.
  3. To output the Amount. On the left click Sales Order Item. From the middle drag Net Amount to Results fields to display.
  4. To output any comments made online. On the left click Notes, From the middle drag Notes to Results fields to display.
  5. To output the designation. On the left Expand Sales Order Item, Expand Sales Order Item Donation, Click Designation. From the middle drag Public Name to Results fields to display.
Preview and Save your query
  1. Navigate to the Preview Results tab to preview your query
  2. Navigate to the Set Save Options Tab of your query
    1. Name the Query
    2. Mark the box to Create a Selection
  3. Save and Close
