If Blackbaud hosts your database, please create a case with Support requesting which Data Tune-Up Service you would like run. We will then work with you to run the process.
If Blackbaud does not host your database ensure port 20 is open for incoming traffic and port 21 is open for outgoing traffic from IP address 126.96.36.199. Then create a case with Support providing the public IP address of your BBCRM web server. Please include all possible locations if your organization is load balanced. Please also include which Data Tune-Up Service you would like run. We will then work with you to run the process. The steps below can be used to determine the IP address of you web server(s).
If your organization is also on version 3.0 or 4.0 of Blackbaud CRM, both hosted or non-hosted, set the connection method within Data Tune-Up to active. The steps below outline how to set the connection method.
1. Select Administration>Data Tune-Up.
